The City of Williamsport is situated within the Susquehanna Valley located in Lycoming County north central Pennsylvania. The city of Williamsport encompasses approximately nine square miles, and is home to thirty thousand year round residents, nine thousand college students from the Pennsylvania College of Technology and Lycoming College and thousands of workers in our industrial park. The Williamsport Bureau of Police is currently staffed with fifty-one sworn officers and three civilian personnel.

Domestic Violence Services
The mission of the Wise Options Domestic Violence Program is to provide shelter, counseling, and advocacy services to abused partners and their children, to reduce violence and the impact of violence on their lives, and to provide education to the community about domestic violence. |

PA Megan’s Law Website
Pennsylvania's Megan's Law, 42 Pa.C.S. § 9799.1, requires the State Police to create and maintain a registry of persons who reside, work/carry on a vocation, or attend school in the Commonwealth and who have either been convicted of, entered a plea of guilty to, or adjudicated delinquent of certain sex offenses in Pennsylvania or another jurisdiction. |
